Santoku Kiritsuke knife-----Bunka. "Kiritsuke knives are a hybrid design combining features of Japanese usubas and yanagibas." Compared to traditional knives, this one is double-sided and more convenient for everyday use. High carbon steel knives are easy to sharpen, and each of our knives is hand-honed by 10 years of master craftsmen before leaving the factory to produce a beautiful blade. For the convenience of beginner chefs, this knife is made with a thick enough space reserved for sharpening. If you have very high requirements for the sharpness of the blade, please sharpen the knife before the first use. Huusk knives are pre-oiled. Some people see the oil and regard it as a used item. THAT'S NOT TRUE. They are pre-oiled to protect the blade during shipping. Remember, high-carbon steel knives are prone to rust. If you are new to high-carbon steel knives, whether you are buying them for someone else or for yourself, please be aware of this characteristic. Our advice is to dry the blade after each use. Spend an extra 2 minutes doing this after each cooking session, and your knife will last longer.
